Join our professional dental team as a Dental Assistant, where you will be an essential part of the dental practice’s success. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients and assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures. Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing instruments and materials.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after each use.
  • Ensure patient comfort by providing quality care and answering any questions.
  • Take and develop dental x-rays as instructed by the dentist.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including updating charts and filing reports.
  • Ensure the operatory and dental instruments meet the clinic’s hygiene standards.
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and postoperative care instructions.
  • Handle and order dental supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.
  • Assist with the creation of detailed impressions and molds of patients' teeth.
  • Operate and maintain dental equipment, ensuring all tools function properly.
  • Communicate with suppliers to manage inventory and order necessary materials.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assistant certification preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working as a dental assistant.
  • Proficiency in taking and developing dental x-rays and using equipment safely.
  • Strong knowledge of patient care and infection control procedures in a dental setting.
  • Excellent communication skills with both team members and patients.
  • Ability to multitask and handle various tasks within a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with dental practice management software.
