Job Description

A Data Entry Operator plays a pivotal role in a company's data management system by accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining important business information. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, efficiency in typing, and familiarity with office software such as Microsoft Office and database systems. Responsibilities

  • Maintain files and records with effective file management systems.
  • Gather, collate, and prepare documents for data entry activities.
  • Handle confidential information securely and protect data integrity.
  • Update and maintain company databases regularly for accuracy.
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to resolve data issues.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or similar role required.
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets needed.
  • Strong typing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as scanners and printers.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize projects.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborative team efforts.
