As a Concierge, you will be the foremost point of contact for our esteemed guests, delivering unparalleled customer service and enhancing the reputation of our facility. Your role is vital to creating an exceptional first and lasting impression on visitors. You will be responsible for ensuring that guests receive thoughtful and personalized service tailored to their individual needs and preferences. This includes offering information, assistance, and recommendations tailored to enhance the guest's experience. Your ability to anticipate guest needs, solve problems swiftly, and communicate effectively across departments is critical in this dynamic position. This role requires outstanding interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of the local area, and a dedication to being a resourceful supporter of both guests and colleagues.


Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide accurate information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
  • Assist guests with reservations, bookings, and ticket acquisition for events.
  • Coordinate transport arrangements as per guest requirements for movement ease.
  • Manage guest requests, inquiries, and complaints timely and effectively.
  • Stay updated on local events and activities to enhance guest experiences.
  • Communicate guest preferences and requests to appropriate hotel departments.
  • Maintain an organized and comprehensive concierge desk environment daily.
  • Offer personalized recommendations for dining, entertainment, and special events.
  • Ensure that the privacy and confidentiality of guest information is maintained.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills to handle unforeseen guest challenges.
  • Develop relationships with local businesses to benefit the hotel and guests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree is a plus.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service in a similar role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of handling unforeseen situations.
  • Knowledgeable about the local area, including attractions and services.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using hotel management and concierge desk software systems.
