Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions to meet organizational needs and specifications.
• Ensure the cloud environment is secure, compliant, and adheres to industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with the IT department to define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Monitor cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime, resolving issues as they arise.
• Develop and deploy automation solution scripts for improved efficiency in cloud operations.
• Collaborate with software engineers to build and evolve a scalable cloud architecture.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment processes.
• Conduct periodic reviews of existing systems and infrastructures to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and integrate them into the current cloud environment.
• Provide support and high-level troubleshooting to IT teams and other departments regarding cloud infrastructure.
• Document processes and procedures for cloud management to ensure sustainability and transfer of knowledge.
• Lead training sessions and seminars with staff to promote best practices in cloud technology usage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or a related field.
• Proficient knowledge of at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Experience with containerization tools, including Docker and Kubernetes, is a must.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable and resilient cloud architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
