As a Carpenter specializing in modular interiors, you will play a key role in the construction, assembly, and installation of modular components for a variety of interior spaces. Your expertise in reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and understanding building codes will be crucial in delivering high-quality and precise pieces. Working closely with designers and clients, your innovative problem-solving skills will ensure aesthetically pleasing and functional interiors that meet specific requirements. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans accurately and efficiently.
• Assemble and install modular components such as kitchen units, partitions, and cabinetry.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials as per project requirements.
• Use hand and power tools safely and competently to complete various carpentry tasks.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure all dimensions and materials align with project specifications.
• Collaborate with designers and clients to refine and adjust designs as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and health and safety regulations at all times.
• Install fixtures and fittings such as handles, hinges, locks, and other hardware components.
• Maintain and repair existing structures to preserve interior designs and functionality.
• Manage project timelines and coordinate with other trades to ensure timely project completion.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazardous materials and debris.
• Continuously assess craft techniques and materials to improve quality and productivity.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter specializing in modular interior construction.
• Strong ability to read and understand technical documents and blueprints.
• Skilled in the use of both manual and powered carpentry tools and equipment.
• Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and construction principles.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials.
• Experience with various finishes such as varnishes, sealants, and polishes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail in all tasks.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• Certification or vocational training in carpentry or related fields is preferred.
