As a Car Electrician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of a vehicle's electrical systems. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all electrical components in cars, which may include alternators, starter motors, batteries, wiring, and related equipment. Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose electrical issues in vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair and replace faulty components such as starters, alternators, and batteries.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure the longevity and reliability of vehicle electrical systems.
• Install and upgrade electrical accessories in automotive vehicles as requested by clients.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Document and maintain accurate records of all electrical repairs and maintenance work performed.
• Provide expert advice to customers regarding potential electrical upgrades and safety measures.
• Stay updated with new technologies and advancements in vehicle electrical systems and components.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate effectively with other automotive technicians to provide comprehensive vehicle diagnoses.
• Provide training or guidance to junior mechanics and apprentices when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations by regularly reviewing updates.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification, preferably with a focus on automotive electrical systems.
• Minimum of two years’ experience working as a car electrician or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, including diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and diagrams effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in performing repairs.
• Solid communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues to non-technical clients.
• Certification from an accredited technical school or completion of an apprenticeship program preferred.
