Job Description

A Business Development Specialist is a key player in driving a company’s growth and profitability. This professional is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, nurturing relationships with potential clients, and working closely with the sales and marketing teams to accomplish strategic goals. Responsibilities

  • Participate in networking events, conferences, and industry functions to build connections.
  • Analyze customer feedback, data, and market conditions to refine business strategies.
  • Manage and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system accurately and promptly.
  • Monitor industry and technology developments to position the company ahead of market trends.
  • Prepare regular reports on progress, forecasts, and results for management review.
  • Work with the finance department to ensure proper financial agreements with clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in business development or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills essential for success.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate business opportunities effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools highly advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend events.
