Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to ensure software quality.
• Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve software defects.
• Create detailed test plans, cases, and scripts based on requirements and specifications.
• Analyze test results and report bugs and issues to the development team effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and testing.
• Implement testing best practices and drive continuous improvement in testing processes.
• Ensure all automated test activities are documented and maintain test records efficiently.
• Utilize test management tools to track defects, issues, and testing progress accurately.
• Prepare test environments, data, and configurations for execution of test cases.
• Participate in design and code reviews to identify potential quality issues early.
• Continuously enhance skills and knowledge in software test automation tools and techniques.
• Mentor junior test engineers, providing guidance on test automation and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation testing and quality assurance roles.
• Proven experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively document and present test findings.
