Job Description

The Assistant Manager – Human Resources plays a pivotal role in supporting the HR department's strategic objectives and daily operations. This position bridges the gap between HR upper management and the organization's workforce, ensuring smooth and effective HR functions. The Assistant Manager will assist in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with HR policies. Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage the recruitment process to attract, hire, and retain high-quality candidates.
  • Ensure the smooth and effective execution of HR-related strategies and policies.
  • Support and manage employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement performance management processes.
  • Maintain company culture by promoting organizational values and ethics.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with local and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate HR projects and programs to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with management on employee development and career planning initiatives.
  • Oversee the maintenance of employee records, ensuring all information is accurate and confidential.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related queries and concerns.
  • Prepare and present HR reports and analysis for decision-making purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Proven experience in HR roles with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills necessary for the role.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Proficiency in HR-related software, such as Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS).
  • Solid knowledge of labor legislation and employment law regulations.
