The Assistant Manager – Human Resources (HR) is a vital role within our organization, dedicated to supporting and enhancing the HR functions while ensuring the effective management of talent. Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Conduct recruitment activities, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Handle employee relations, addressing grievances, and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Manage employee performance review processes and assist in developing performance improvement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, updating policies as necessary.
  • Provide support and guidance to HR team members and other staff when required.
  • Oversee onboarding processes and ensure new hires have a smooth integration into the company.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and plan staff development programs.
  • Maintain organized personnel records and ensure data confidentiality and integrity.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to improve HR practices and employee engagement.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring HR expenditures to ensure cost-efficiency.
  • Participate in developing and promoting a positive employment brand internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and regulations applicable to the industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage employee concerns.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple HR projects and initiatives successfully.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant HR software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing HR matters.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality concerning employee and company information.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities to inspire and guide HR team members effectively.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage HR processes efficiently.
