As an Assembly & Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and production process by assembling, inspecting, and testing industrial and commercial products to ensure high-quality standards and performance metrics are maintained. Your role will be pivotal in identifying and troubleshooting any discrepancies or failures in the assembly line and test phases. Responsibilities

• Assemble products using engineering blueprints, technical manuals, and detailed schematics.
• Conduct thorough tests on finished products to ensure functionality and safety.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical or assembly issues during production.
• Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, test results, and any product anomalies.
• Work closely with design engineers to implement product improvements and updates.
• Ensure all products and components adhere to company quality standards and specifications.
• Perform regular maintenance and calibration of test equipment and assembly tools.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline assembly processes for increased efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Provide training and support to junior technicians and new hires as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in assembly and testing roles within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of assembly techniques and testing procedures for various products.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to read complex technical documents.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Capability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy components and equipment regularly.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and computer systems for testing purposes.
