Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Executive is a critical role within our finance team. This position is responsible for managing the company’s accounts receivable process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep commitment to customer service. This role demands coordinating with multiple stakeholders to manage invoicing and collections effectively. Additionally, the Accounts Receivable Executive must operate proficiently within financial software systems and develop efficient strategies to optimize receivables. Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable process efficiently.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing in compliance with financial policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales, payments, and outstanding invoices.
  • Perform regular reconciliation of accounts to prevent discrepancies or errors.
  • Monitor aging of receivables to ensure prompt follow-up and collection.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve client billing issues.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to management on receivables status.
  • Develop strategies to reduce receivable days and optimize cash flow.
  • Assist in the implementation and management of receivables software solutions.
  • Provide an excellent level of service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on market trends and legislative changes affecting accounts receivable.
  • Support audits by providing necessary accounts receivable documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or similar role.
  • Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks or SAP is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for stakeholder interaction.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
