UI/UX Designer (225-731)

A UI/UX Designer plays a pivotal role in creating intuitive and engaging user experiences for digital products and services. They are responsible for designing user interfaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and user-friendly. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, an eye for detail, and the ability to translate complex user requirements into compelling design solutions. The UI/UX Designer collaborates with various teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to ensure that the user experience aligns with the overall business goals. They also conduct user research, create wireframes and prototypes, and continuously assess and improve the usability of applications to enhance user satisfaction and usability.

Responsibilities

• Develop user interface designs that adhere to brand guidelines and enhance user engagement.
• Conduct user research and analyze usage data to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand project requirements.
• Ensure that design elements align with the overall user experience strategy.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results to improve usability.
• Maintain consistency in visual elements across multiple platforms and devices.
• Document design specifications and guidelines for development teams to follow.
• Provide input on visual design strategies and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
• Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends and incorporate best practices into designs.
• Test and evaluate design solutions to identify and rectify UX problems.
• Facilitate and participate in user testing to validate design effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Proven experience in UI/UX design with a robust portfolio of design projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of user interface principles and design elements.
• Excellent ability to translate user research and requirements into design solutions.
• Effective communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate with teams.
• Familiarity with front-end development languages is a plus but not required.
