Job Description

The Training & Development Associate is vital in enhancing the competencies of individual employees by designing and conducting training programs that will boost employee’s workplace performance. This role involves researching, planning, and implementing training programs, while also evaluating their effectiveness. The incumbent will work closely with department managers and team leaders to identify training needs and align these with the company's goals. Additionally, the Training & Development Associate will contribute to a positive work atmosphere by identifying opportunities for employee development and motivation. This position requires strong organizational skills, a grasp of adult learning theories, and the ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring the cultivation of a skilled and capable workforce poised for the organization’s sustainable growth.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement effective training and development programs for employees.
  • Identify specific training needs in collaboration with department managers and supervisors.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
  • Conduct workshops, simulations, role-playing, and other training methods.
  • Develop educational materials and training manuals to support learning objectives.
  • Maintain updated curricula databases and training records for all staff.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including venues, equipment, and scheduling.
  • Ensure training programs support organizational growth and employee performance improvement.
  • Keep abreast with developments in the learning and development industry.
  • Support managers to develop and coach employees towards achieving their potential.
  • Facilitate onboarding programs for new hires to ensure seamless integration.
  • Analyze employee skill sets to determine gaps and suggest learning paths.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field required.
  • Minimum two years of experience in training and development or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of training methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and tools is highly desirable.
  • Ability to assess training needs and implement efficient training solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Certification in Training and Development or a related credential is a plus.
