Job Description

The Telecaller role is a key position within our client's customer service and support team, with a focus on effectively managing telephonic communication to engage potential and existing customers. This position is designed for a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, capable of building rapport with customers and persuading them towards beneficial actions. As a Telecaller, you will be responsible for reaching out to customers to inform them about new products or services and assist them with any queries they may have. You need to be comfortable with handling high call volumes and be adept at resolving customer concerns efficiently. Your goal is to facilitate superior service delivery and contribute to achieving the company's sales and service targets. The role demands not just excellent spoken communication skills but also an empathetic understanding of customer needs and the ability to offer tailored solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers about product and service details.
  • Follow communication scripts when handling different topics during calls.
  • Generate leads and boost brand awareness through quality telephonic engagement.
  • Identify customer needs and provide solutions through persuasive communication.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints by offering solutions within the company's policies.
  • Document customer interactions, comments, and complaints accurately in the system.
  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales and call targets set by management.
  • Regularly update contact records with accurate information gathered during calls.
  • Follow up on the initial contacts and conduct scheduled callbacks to maintain interest.
  • Keep abreast of product updates and industry trends to provide accurate information.
  • Collaborate with team members and share effective telephone techniques and strategies.
  • Provide feedback on customer requirements and competitive activities in the market.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Telecaller or in a similar customer service role.
  • Proficient in using telecommunications technology and CRM software systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve issues promptly.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to handle rejection while remaining motivated and focused on goals.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification preferred.
