Job Description

The Store Assistant (Code: 22N25) plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the retail store. This position requires the individual to manage the day-to-day activities of the store, assist customers with their inquiries, and contribute towards achieving the store's sales goals. The Store Assistant is the face of the company, delivering exceptional service to customers, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring the store is always welcoming and in tip-top condition. Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with product inquiries and provide solutions to meet their needs.
  • Ensure the store is always tidy, clean, and organized for clients and staff.
  • Support the management team with stock inventory and restocking as needed.
  • Operate cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of current sales promotions and specials.
  • Contribute to team efforts by achieving or exceeding sales targets monthly.
  • Monitor and manage customer grievances, providing prompt resolutions when necessary.
  • Display strong product knowledge to assist customers in making informed decisions.
  • Assist in setting up storefront displays and promotional materials attractively.
  • Perform tasks as directed by store management and assist in other tasks as needed.
  • Participate in the training sessions to continuously update sales techniques and strategies.
  • Follow all store operational policies and procedures diligently to ensure safety.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is highly favorable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented attitude are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and work as part of a team.
  • Proficient in handling cash and processing financial transactions accurately.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and responsibility.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
