Job Description

The Store Assistant 20N25 is an integral part of our retail operations, focused on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient operation of the store. This role demands a highly organized individual who is passionate about retail and committed to enhancing the customer experience. As a Store Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the presentation of the store, assisting customers with their purchases, and supporting the store management team with various tasks. You will play a vital role in promoting a positive atmosphere and ensuring that the store meets its sales targets. Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in finding products and provide recommendations based on their needs.
  • Maintain the store's visual standards and ensure merchandise displays are appealing.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in stock replenishment activities.
  • Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately handle all transactions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support the store manager in executing promotional activities and events.
  • Handle product returns and exchanges following company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers at all times.
  • Participate in regular store meetings and contribute ideas to improve store operations.
  • Assist in the implementation of loss prevention strategies to safeguard store assets.
  • Receive and process incoming stock deliveries accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the brand, embodying our values and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail training is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a retail environment or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor with a strong customer service focus.
