Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to meet engineering and manufacturing hiring needs.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruiting needs and provide strategic input.
  • Source and attract candidates using a variety of methods including job boards, networking, and social media.
  • Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for specific roles.
  • Manage the candidate experience from initial contact through the onboarding process.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research.
  • Track and report key recruitment metrics to leadership for continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to ensure competitive recruitment practices.
  • Liaise with internal teams and participate in employer branding initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal standards related to hiring processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies when necessary.
  • Organize and participate in job fairs and recruitment events to promote the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in recruiting for engineering or manufacturing roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully hiring for technical positions in a competitive market.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting methodologies, strategies, and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and recruiting software.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
