Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide network architecture and configurations.
• Lead projects to upgrade and enhance our existing network infrastructure systems.
• Analyze business requirements to develop and propose efficient network solutions.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain routers, switches, and other network devices.
• Develop strategies to optimize network performance and reliability for all users.
• Collaborate with vendors to acquire new network technology and maintain services.
• Conduct regular network performance monitoring and troubleshooting for issues.
• Ensure high levels of security throughout the network infrastructure against cyber threats.
• Provide advanced technical support and training to IT staff and other departments.
• Prepare and update documentation for network systems, policies, and configurations.
• Support incident response activities and conduct post-incident analysis and reporting.
• Stay informed about recent technological developments to propose innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least eight years of experience in network engineering or a related IT role.
• Strong experience with network hardware such as Cisco, Juniper, and similar products.
• Profound knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, and VRRP.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing large-scale enterprise networks.
• Solid understanding of network security principles and practices, such as firewalls.
• Relevant certifications like CCNP, CCIE, or similar are highly desirable and beneficial.
