Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide network infrastructure and system architecture.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability at all times.
• Configure and update network hardware and software, including routers and switches.
• Maintain security protocols and perform regular network security assessments to safeguard data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues and provide technical support to the IT team.
• Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to enhance network solutions.
• Document network architecture, processes, and policies to maintain quality standards.
• Implement network management tools to optimize network performance and capacity.
• Coordinate the installation and maintenance of firewall devices to protect sensitive information.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and contingency plans for network operations.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior network engineers and IT staff members.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in network engineering or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, routing, and switching infrastructure.
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
• Proficiency in configuring network devices, including Cisco, Juniper, or similar technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
• Relevant certifications, such as CCNP or equivalent, are highly desirable.
