Job Description

The Senior Executive – HR plays a pivotal role in bridging management and employees by ensuring smooth HR processes, addressing staff queries, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Responsible for implementing HR policies and managing functions such as recruitment, performance management, and workforce development, the Senior Executive supports the organization’s strategic objectives. This role also involves analyzing trends and metrics to develop strategic solutions, programs, and policies. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a deep knowledge of HR practices and legislation. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire recruitment process from job posting to onboarding new employees.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the business strategy.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, engaging in mediation when necessary.
  • Conduct employee performance reviews and guide managers on performance improvement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, amending policies as needed.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Coordinate and monitor employee benefits programs to ensure competitive offerings.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with the company’s core values.
  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast and plan workforce needs and initiatives.
  • Manage annual appraisal processes and align compensation with performance metrics.
  • Act as a point of contact for all HR-related queries and issues for employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior HR role is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor legislation, and employment laws.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience with HR software and tools, such as HRIS, ATS, and payroll systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex employee relations issues.
  • Demonstrated experience in workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Effective leadership skills and the ability to lead and develop HR projects and initiatives.
