Job Description

The role of a SEM Executive is a crucial one within digital marketing, focusing on managing and optimizing online advertising campaigns. As an SEM Executive, you will be responsible for formulating strategies to enhance search engine marketing presence, generating leads, and improving the overall brand visibility online. You will work with a team of marketing professionals to drive traffic to the company’s website through pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and other paid search initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SEM best practices, analytical skills to assess campaign performance, and the ability to effectively communicate insights. Your role will have a direct impact on the company's digital footprint and drive revenue growth through targeted, data-driven strategies.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEM strategies to increase search engine visibility.
  • Manage and optimize PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Bing, and other platforms.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify new opportunities and optimize existing campaigns.
  • Analyze campaign performance data and generate actionable insights for improvement.
  • Maintain and monitor budgets, ad spends, and adjust bids for optimal performance.
  • Create engaging ad copy and A/B test different variations to improve click-through rates.
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop targeted landing pages for SEM campaigns.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and implement relevant changes to optimize campaigns.
  • Prepare detailed reports on SEM campaign performance metrics and ROI analysis.
  • Ensure all SEM campaigns are aligned with overall marketing goals and brand guidelines.
  • Provide recommendations for improving the site structure to enhance campaign performance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve cohesive marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing PPC campaigns and SEM strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency with Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other SEM platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present data-driven insights.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop engaging ad content.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Google Ads or similar certification will be considered advantageous.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics is essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
