Job Description

As a Recruiter, you play a crucial role in shaping the workforce of a company. Your primary responsibility is to identify, attract, and hire the most qualified candidates to meet the organization's staffing needs. A recruiter must be adept at understanding job requirements, sourcing potential candidates, and evaluating their qualifications through interviews and reference checks. You will work closely with hiring managers and departmental leads to ensure the recruiting process aligns with the company's objectives and values. Additionally, staying updated with industry trends, effective communication skills, and maintaining a network of potential candidates are essential to excelling in this position. As part of the HR team, you will also contribute to creating a positive experience for candidates, from the initial job posting to the onboarding process.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and publish compelling job postings across various job boards and platforms.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates for open positions.
  • Conduct initial interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications and fit for the role.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and preferences.
  • Maintain and manage candidate databases and recruitment tools efficiently.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely feedback and updates.
  • Stay informed on current hiring trends and innovative recruitment techniques.
  • Develop a strong network of professionals in the industry for future recruitment needs.
  • Perform reference checks on shortlisted candidates to verify their qualifications.
  • Negotiate job offers, salary packages, and facilitate the hiring process effectively.
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives to promote the company as a top employer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a recruiter in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of hiring processes and best recruitment practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software tools.
  • Ability to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and performance during interviews.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex salary discussions.
