Responsibilities

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls efficiently and courteously.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal time management.
  • Verify patient information and update medical records accurately as required.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
  • Provide assistance and information regarding the healthcare facility services.
  • Handle patient inquiries, troubleshoots issues, and escalate as necessary.
  • Coordinate with healthcare staff to manage patient flow effectively.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with regulations.
  • Assist with general clerical duties, including mail distribution and data entry.
  • Prepare and manage necessary paperwork and forms for patient processing.
  • Support administrative and clinical staff with various tasks as requested.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare training preferred.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional, courteous attitude.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.
