Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologist to join our healthcare team. As a Radiologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients by interpreting medical images, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, to assist in the detection and treatment of diseases and injuries. This role demands precision, in-depth medical knowledge, and the ability to make critical decisions affecting patient care. Responsibilities

  • Interpret and analyze images from different radiology modalities, including CT, MRIs, and X-rays.
  • Provide accurate diagnostic reports to assist in patient management plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss results and coordinate patient care.
  • Ensure high-quality, clinically relevant images by coordinating with radiology technicians and medical staff.
  • Consult with referring physicians regarding the medical interpretations and implications of imaging results.
  • Participate in tumor board meetings and multidisciplinary case discussions.
  • Stay updated with advancements in radiology techniques, equipment, and procedures.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation to support accurate clinical records and billing codes.
  • Comply with all health regulations and safety standards within the radiology department.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior doctors or radiology residents.
  • Contribute to ongoing clinical research projects and educational activities.
  • Respond promptly to emergency consultations and provide timely diagnoses.

Requirements

  • Medical degree with specialization in Radiology from an accredited institution.
  • Successfully completed medical residency in Radiology and board certification.
  • Strong knowledge of imaging techniques such as Mammography, MRI, CT, and Ultrasound.
  • Proven experience working in a hospital or specialized medical center setting.
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining complex information to patients and staff.
  • Current valid medical license to practice as a Radiologist in the required jurisdiction.
  • High-level analytical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team environment.
