Quality Auditor – FMCG (225-731)

The Quality Auditor in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance before they reach the consumer. This position is crucial in maintaining the reputation of the company by executing thorough audits on the manufacturing processes, product storage, and distribution methods. The auditor is responsible for identifying any discrepancies and ensuring that corrective actions are implemented effectively. This role not only supports product quality but also contributes to the company's commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Working closely with other departments, the Quality Auditor must be detail-oriented, analytical, and possess a deep understanding of industry regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with set standards.
• Assess quality control procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
• Compile detailed audit reports documenting findings, non-compliances, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the production team to develop corrective and preventive action plans.
• Monitor the implementation of corrective actions to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
• Perform root cause analysis for quality issues identified during the audit process.
• Ensure that all products meet legal and safety requirements before reaching the consumer.
• Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Train staff on quality standards and assist in developing quality awareness programs.
• Participate in supplier audits to ensure raw materials meet incoming quality standards.
• Communicate audit findings and quality issues to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Maintain a database of audit findings and related compliance documentation for future reference.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Food Science, or related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in quality auditing within the FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and auditing techniques.
• Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations, such as ISO and HACCP.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to conduct thorough investigations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
