Job Description

The Quality Assurance Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the organization maintains the highest standards of quality across its products and services. This role involves developing and implementing quality management systems, quality assurance procedures, and control processes to monitor and assess product and service quality. The Quality Assurance Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and customer service, to ensure compliance with both internal and external requirements and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead quality improvement initiatives. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for identifying and solving quality-related issues through process enhancements, audits, and training.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance plans in alignment with company standards.
  • Lead quality assurance activities and continuously improve quality processes and systems.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and other teams to enhance product quality.
  • Monitor and evaluate quality performance indicators and metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on quality standards and best practices.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to quality assurance activities and results.
  • Report on quality assurance activities and trends to senior management regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints related to quality promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure product quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a quality assurance management role.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and relevant industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Experience with quality management software and data analysis tools preferred.
