Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the standards of quality within the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the quality assurance processes and ensure that the products and services meet both internal and external requirements. This involves coordinating activities required to meet quality standards and monitoring ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements. You will lead a team of quality assurance analysts, develop effective quality control systems, and collaborate closely with production and operation teams to drive continuous improvement. The role demands a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of problem-solving and proactive in identifying bottlenecks in production processes to recommend effective solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and policies for the organization.
  • Oversee all quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Manage and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals.
  • Conduct regular audits of processes and systems to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Analyze quality assurance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with the production team to establish quality requirements from suppliers.
  • Develop and manage testing methodologies to ensure product quality.
  • Ensure that manufacturing processes meet both national and international compliance standards.
  • Prepare and present reports to management regarding quality issues and initiatives.
  • Liaise with other managers and staff to provide training, tools, and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with new trends and advancements in the field of quality management.
  • Act as a representative for the organization during customer and regulatory agency inspections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in quality assurance management or related roles.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a quality assurance team.
  • Excellent knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies.
  • Proficient in data analysis and quality assurance software tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific quality certifications and compliance standards.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and translate them into actionable tasks.
