As a QA Automation Tester, you will be an integral part of the software development team, responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through automated testing processes. You will design, create, and implement test automation frameworks to enhance the efficiency and coverage of testing. Your role will also involve collaborating with developers and other QA team members to identify and address issues, thereby helping to deliver robust software products. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using necessary automation tools.
• Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to understand application functionality.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects in software applications promptly and efficiently.
• Execute automated test scripts and review results to ensure software quality.
• Develop and automate test plans, test cases, and test data as needed.
• Participate in review meetings to analyze potential risks and testing requirements.
• Enhance and maintain test automation frameworks and strategies for better coverage.
• Integrate automated testing into continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
• Provide clear and concise test reports and documentation to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and tools in automated testing.
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure application reliability under load.
• Assist in manual testing as needed to verify certain application features or fixes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development and software quality assurance testing.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent understanding of software testing lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team environment.
