Job Description

The role of a Project Coordinator is integral to ensuring the seamless execution of projects within an organization. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between different departments and teams, ensuring that project goals and objectives are met on time and within budget. A Project Coordinator is expected to provide comprehensive support to project managers, facilitating effective communication and organization across all phases of the project lifecycle. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. The right candidate should also be proactive in problem-solving and demonstrate an enthusiasm for working collaboratively with a team to achieve shared objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information among stakeholders efficiently.
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants effectively.
  • Help prepare project proposals, timeframes, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with management.
  • Ensure stakeholders are informed and their needs are met as projects evolve.
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise promptly.
  • Work with the Project Manager to eliminate project blockers comprehensively.
  • Schedule regular meetings and record decisions, discussions, and follow-up items accurately.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports diligently.
  • Analyze risks and opportunities, proposing solutions to mitigate project risks.
  • Monitor and manage resources, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with all departments involved in project implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or coordination roles.
  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
