Job Description

The role of a Production & Quality Coordinator is pivotal in maintaining the efficiency and quality of production processes within a manufacturing or production environment. As a Production & Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring that products meet the set quality standards, and coordinating with different departments to streamline production processes. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing quality control procedures, working closely with production teams, and implementing systems that foster continuous improvement. Your role will be essential in ensuring products are produced on time, within budget, and meet customer satisfaction. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a robust understanding of production processes and quality management systems.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily production activities to ensure timely completion of production targets.
  • Implement and monitor quality control processes and systems to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve production issues effectively.
  • Ensure all products meet the company’s quality specifications and standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to detect and rectify quality issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date production records and quality reports for management review.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Train production personnel on quality standards and product specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the production facility.
  • Assist in developing production schedules to optimize resource utilization.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality raw materials are procured.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production teams as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Production Management or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in production and quality coordination roles.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and quality management systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle diverse tasks.
  • Proficient in using production management and quality control software tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and quality improvements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with different teams.
