Job Description

As a Pre-Sales Specialist in the Interiors industry, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise, crafting compelling sales pitches, and assisting in the customization of interior solutions to meet client needs. You will be a liaison between the sales and technical teams, ensuring that the solutions proposed to clients are technically viable and in alignment with their requirements. Your deep understanding of interior design product lines, materials, and technologies will be key in conveying the benefits and selling points of our offerings. This role demands excellent communication skills, as well as a keen ability to understand and predict customer needs and trends within the interior design industry. You will often operate in high-pressure environments, requiring agility and quick problem-solving capabilities to meet the varying demands of a competitive market.


Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team in understanding client requirements and presenting suitable interior solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain products or services to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to customize interior solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and product offerings.
  • Analyze client questions and provide precise and helpful answers to ease purchasing decisions.
  • Coordinate with project management to ensure aligned understanding of client requirements and expectations.
  • Participate in workshops, training sessions, and industry events to boost product knowledge and networking.
  • Provide feedback to management on market trends, competitive threats, and customer needs.
  • Support the sales team with detailed cost analysis and tender specifications preparations.
  • Track and report on the success and effectiveness of various pre-sales strategies and activities.
  • Ensure all pre-sales functions comply with legal and ethical standards in the industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a pre-sales or similar client-facing role in the interiors industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of interior design products and services.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Able to multitask and manage various client queries and presentations effectively.
  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong client relationships consistently.
  • Proficient with design software and product presentation tools.
  • Knowledge of sales strategies and the capabilities to implement them effectively.
