We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Photo Editor to join our creative team within the Jewellery Industry. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for enhancing images to capture the stunning allure of fine jewellery pieces. You will be responsible for editing, retouching, and refining photographs to meet our brand standards while ensuring each piece’s unique characteristics shine through. This role requires proficiency in photo editing software, a strong understanding of colour correction, and a solid grasp of composition. Responsibilities

• Edit and retouch high-resolution jewellery photographs for marketing purposes.
• Maintain consistent image quality across all photos to match brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with photographers to understand the vision and ensure accurate representation.
• Apply color correction techniques to enhance the brilliance of each jewellery piece.
• Stay updated on current trends in jewellery photo editing and implement them.
• Organize and maintain a digital library of edited photographs for easy retrieval.
• Work closely with design and marketing teams to fulfil their image requirements.
• Assist in setting up and enhancing lighting and backdrop settings for photoshoots.
• Review and select the best images for final editing and publication.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Ensure final images embody the luxury and elegance of the brand’s jewellery pieces.
• Suggest improvements and execute retouches based on feedback from supervisors.

Requirements

• Proven experience in photo editing, specifically in the jewellery industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other photo editing software.
• Exceptional eye for detail and strong understanding of colour balance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities for collaborative projects.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• A portfolio showcasing previous work in jewellery photo editing is required.
