Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for patient education regarding medication therapy management.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations and laws.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, storing, and securing medications.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff, ensuring quality control and service.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize drug therapy plans.
• Conduct medication therapy reviews and adhere to guidelines for pharmaceutical care.
• Monitor patient outcomes and make recommendations for therapy adjustments as necessary.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid pharmacist license in the state of practice is mandatory.
• Proven experience working as a pharmacist in a clinical or retail setting.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and healthcare systems and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
