Job Description

As an Order Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the seamless operation of our supply chain and customer service processes. You will be responsible for managing customer orders from placement to fulfillment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery. This role requires keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to interact effectively with various departments to resolve issues and improve processes. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports to help drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Your role will support the sales and logistics teams to ensure that customer expectations are met while adhering to company policies and procedures.


Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders efficiently while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Work closely with the sales team to validate order details and requirements.
  • Coordinate with logistics to optimize delivery schedules and order fulfillment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for order processing.
  • Monitor orders throughout their lifecycle to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Resolve any order processing issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  • Update and maintain accurate order records in the company's database.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on order status and performance metrics.
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates and resolve inquiries or issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline order management processes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in order management or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective teamwork.
  • Proficiency in order management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
