The Network Security Admin is an essential role within our organization, responsible for safeguarding our network infrastructure and ensuring its robustness against emerging cyber threats. Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the organization’s network security systems and protocols.
• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures for the network.
• Conduct regular network security assessments and vulnerability testing.
• Establish protective measures and counteractions for various security threats.
• Respond to network security breaches and incidents effectively and promptly.
• Collaborate with the IT department for optimal security and technical setup.
• Evaluate and recommend security measures and upgrades to management regularly.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security policies.
• Investigate and respond to security alerts and log anomalies within the network.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain security technology solutions and platforms.
• Provide security presentations and training to staff and management periodically.
• Prepare documentation and reports detailing security status, incidents, and resolutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in network security administration roles.
• Strong knowledge of network monitoring and security tools essential.
• Proven experience with firewall and intrusion detection system management.
• Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
