Job Description

The Maintenance Executive plays a critical role in ensuring that the company's facilities and equipment are maintained to high standards to support smooth and efficient operations. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all maintenance activities, managing maintenance personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The Maintenance Executive is expected to develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and schedules, handling both routine maintenance tasks and emergency repairs. This role also involves budget management, resource allocation, and collaboration with other departments to maintain high levels of equipment and facility performance, contributing to the overall productivity and profitability of the company.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance policies and procedures for the company facilities.
  • Coordinate and oversee all routine and emergency maintenance activities within the organization.
  • Manage and supervise maintenance personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all maintenance operations.
  • Monitor equipment performance and facility conditions, recommending improvements or upgrades as necessary.
  • Plan and prioritize maintenance projects to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, optimizing costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure timely procurement of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment within budget constraints.
  • Generate regular reports on maintenance activities, performance metrics, and areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance services and repairs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support equipment and facility needs for business operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential maintenance issues and risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, equipment, and safety regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing maintenance teams and implementing maintenance programs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle emergency repairs promptly.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with team members and vendors.
