Job Description

As a Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our key clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded. Your primary responsibility will be to act as the lead point of contact for all key client matters, working closely with the rest of the company departments to anticipate the client's needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed. You will develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service. In addition, you will monitor market trends and identify new opportunities to grow business with existing customers. You should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to navigate complex client needs and challenges with poise and a solutions-oriented mindset.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts for business growth.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and communications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and deliver solutions.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates on account status and performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to grow business within existing client accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit and client satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to strategize accordingly.
  • Analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans.
  • Provide proactive account management by anticipating client needs and offering solutions.
  • Coordinate client feedback and work towards resolving significant client issues promptly.
  • Develop and implement account strategies to achieve sales targets and growth objectives.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of products and services according to customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or relevant customer-facing roles.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential for success.
  • Excellent knowledge of CRM software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
