Junior Interior Designer (225-908)

We are seeking a creative and motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team. As a Junior Interior Designer, you will be collaborating with senior designers on diverse projects, supporting the design process from conceptual development through to completion. This role offers the opportunity to learn and grow within the field, working on a variety of residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior designers to develop design concepts and plans.
• Assist in the preparation of mood boards, design presentations, and color schemes.
• Support in creating detailed drawings and specifications for projects.
• Conduct site visits to ensure that the design is being executed as planned.
• Assist in sourcing furniture, fixtures, and materials for projects.
• Prepare project documentation and maintain organized project files.
• Communicate clearly with team members and project stakeholders.
• Maintain awareness of current design trends and new materials.
• Participate in client meetings alongside senior designers.
• Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and schedules.
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance design processes and outcomes.
• Assist in the preparation of visual presentations for client meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is required.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of design principles and color theory.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are needed.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects.
• A portfolio showcasing your design work and creative abilities is required.
