Job Description

The Junior Interior Designer will join our dynamic and creative design team to assist in creating attractive and functional interior environments for our clients. This role requires artistic skills combined with technical knowledge of spatial planning, color theory, furniture, lighting, and materials. The ideal candidate will work under the guidance of senior designers and project managers to support various projects that range from residential to commercial spaces. They should demonstrate an eagerness to learn, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities

  • Assist senior interior designers in developing creative design concepts for projects.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, floor plans, and specifications for various interior design projects.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure interior design implementations are aligned with plans.
  • Research and select materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting that meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for interior spaces.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving project outcomes.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in interior design.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and design boards for client meetings.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary materials and products.
  • Provide support in budgeting and cost estimation for design projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in design processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field required.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of spatial planning, color theory, and materials application.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Previous internship or work experience in interior design is advantageous.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop unique design solutions.
