Job Description

As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the technological backbone of our organization. Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
  • Manage IT tickets, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Set up and configure workstations, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor and maintain network infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted connectivity.
  • Conduct regular system backups and recovery procedures to protect data integrity.
  • Assist in the deployment of new technologies and system upgrades within the organization.
  • Document technical incidents and solutions to maintain an organized knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to improve system processes and user experiences.
  • Provide training and support to staff to enhance their IT proficiency and independence.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and data security protocols.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements to suggest improvements to the IT infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar technical role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network configuration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholder interactions.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools is an advantage.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certification are preferred.
