Job Description

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be the backbone of our technology infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation and providing critical support to maintain uninterrupted business functions. In this dynamic role, you will resolve technical issues, enhance system efficiency, and provide valuable insights for system improvements. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users promptly.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems efficiently.
  • Monitor and maintain computer networks and systems for optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software issues.
  • Support the rollout of new applications and manage IT project implementation.
  • Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords regularly to ensure security.
  • Respond to incidents and requests quickly to support business operations.
  • Conduct regular system upgrades and perform preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Document system configurations, changes, and support processes meticulously.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to enhance system efficiencies.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to maximize technology adoption.
  • Keep abreast of technology trends and updates to ensure cutting-edge solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer systems, networks, and security protocols.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical software and hardware issues.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service management practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with end-users and teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms, such as Windows, Linux, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with common system and network administration tasks.
