Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Support Associate Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical support and ensure smooth operation within our organization. As an IT Support Associate Engineer, you will play a critical role in addressing the technical needs of our employees, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, and assisting in the maintenance and management of our IT infrastructure. You should be detail-oriented, excel in problem-solving, and have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.


Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to employees via email, phone, and in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
  • Install and configure computer systems and applications as required.
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of network servers and technology tools.
  • Monitor and manage IT support tickets to ensure rapid response times.
  • Conduct system performance testing and optimize configurations as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets and configurations in use.
  • Assist in the setting up and support of video conferencing systems.
  • Ensure security and privacy measures are implemented across the IT infrastructure.
  • Train users on new software and hardware as necessary for operational continuity.
  • Assist with the deployment and upgrade of IT equipment as project demands arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years experience in a technical support role or similar position.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows and MacOS operating systems.
  • Experience with networking fundamentals and troubleshooting network-related issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and capability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with a team.
