Job Description

The IT Helpdesk Support role is an integral position within our organization dedicated to resolving technical issues and improving user experiences. As an IT Helpdesk Support team member, you will serve as the frontline technical support representative for our users, addressing a range of IT-related concerns. Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert-level assistance to employees, ensuring seamless IT operations and utmost satisfaction. This role involves handling hardware, software, and networking issues, troubleshooting problems remotely or on-site, and escalating complex issues to higher-level support when necessary. Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to users experiencing IT-related issues.
  • Accurately diagnose IT problems and execute immediate solutions where possible.
  • Log and document daily technical issues and resolutions for future reference.
  • Guide users through step-by-step problem-solving processes during troubleshooting.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Monitor and manage helpdesk tickets to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution.
  • Provide user support and training to enhance employees' IT proficiency and productivity.
  • Perform routine system checks to maintain optimal network and systems functioning.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software as required.
  • Regularly update and maintain IT support documentation and knowledge base.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective user support.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and IT helpdesk software beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative IT team.
