Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Generalist for our team, who will play a crucial role in assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. The HR Generalist will have a strong background in HR practices and employee management, along with excellent communication skills. This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion. The ideal candidate will be proactive in supporting the company’s growth and ensuring compliance with labor laws. They will work closely with various departments to provide HR services and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain employee records accurately, ensuring all employment information is up-to-date.
  • Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and conducting preliminary screenings.
  • Oversee the new hire onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Coordinate and conduct training sessions for employees on various HR-related topics.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Handle employee relations, addressing grievances, and facilitating resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Administer and manage employee benefits and compensation programs effectively and efficiently.
  • Support performance management by monitoring reviews and providing necessary documentation.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to improve workplace efficiency.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze feedback, and recommend actions for improvement.
  • Assist management with employee performance evaluations and development plans.
  • Keep abreast of HR trends to innovate and adapt HR practices to modern standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience working in human resources roles.
  • Proven ability to manage HR systems and maintain high confidentiality standards.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and employee relationship management practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle various HR functions.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for diverse audiences.
  • Proficient with HR software, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
