Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors upon their arrival at the hospital.

  • Answer and manage incoming phone inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
  • Maintain and update patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Handle patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently, minimizing wait times.
  • Coordinate with hospital departments to facilitate patient flow and information exchange.
  • Collect and process payments for services, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area for guests.
  • Monitor office supplies inventory and submit requests for procurement as needed.
  • Provide support for administrative tasks as assigned by the management team.
  • Act as a liaison between patients, families, and medical staff to address queries.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and office software, such as MS Office.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
