Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious and results-oriented Head of Sales to lead our sales team in the rapidly expanding solar industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership and a passion for renewable energy solutions. As the Head of Sales, you will be instrumental in driving sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and expanding our market presence. You will work closely with the executive team to align sales initiatives with company goals and ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded. Your strategic vision and ability to inspire and lead a high-performing sales team will be critical to ensuring our continued growth in the solar market.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to increase market share.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve targets.
  • Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities and sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to execute strategic sales campaigns.
  • Monitor sales metrics and adjust tactics to optimize sales performance.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and report progress to the executive team.
  • Stay informed of industry developments and competitor activities in the solar sector.
  • Oversee the negotiation and closing of major contracts and agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations at all times.
  • Identify and cultivate potential partnerships and alliances to enhance sales capacity.
  • Mentor and coach sales team members to develop their professional skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, preferably in the solar industry.
  • Proven ability to drive sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a large sales team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends effectively.
  • High level of proficiency with CRM software and sales performance tools.
