Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging fashion design curriculum for undergraduate students.
• Incorporate hands-on learning experiences and practical projects into course instruction.
• Stay abreast of current trends and innovations within the fashion industry.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and update the fashion curriculum annually.
• Mentor students on their individual projects, fostering creative development.
• Organize guest lectures and workshops by industry professionals for student enrichment.
• Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and other institutional activities as required.
• Conduct research in fashion design and contribute to scholarly publications.
• Evaluate and grade students' work, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
• Supervise student internships, ensuring valuable industry experience and learning.
• Participate in student recruitment activities and promote the fashion design program.
• Encourage and facilitate student participation in national and international competitions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Fashion Design or a closely related field is mandatory.
• At least three years of professional experience in the fashion industry preferred.
• Previous teaching experience in a higher education setting is highly desirable.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise and creativity in fashion design.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.
