Job Description

The Food and Beverage (F&B) Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the seamless operation of the F&B department within the hospitality industry. As a key team member, the F&B Coordinator ensures that all food and beverage activities run smoothly by effectively liaising between the culinary staff, service team, and management. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily operations and workflow within the F&B department.
  • Assist in planning and organizing F&B events and functions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and supply levels to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with chefs and service staff to provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the department.
  • Support budgeting and financial planning activities for the F&B division.
  • Address guest inquiries and complaints to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Assist in menu planning and development through coordination with culinary teams.
  • Maintain clear and open communication lines across all levels of the F&B team.
  • Ensure accurate scheduling and staffing to meet operational needs.
  • Provide administrative support to the F&B Director and management team.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new F&B staff and briefings before service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a coordinating role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills for efficient task management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.
  • Proficiency in using F&B management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in maintaining inventory records.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards.
