Job Description

The F&B Attendant is a vital team member in the food and beverage department, responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience for guests. This role requires a detail-oriented and service-driven individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor. The F&B Attendant must ensure that food and beverages are served promptly and meet quality standards. This role involves working closely with kitchen staff and other service team members to provide a seamless dining experience. Whether setting up dining areas, taking orders, or managing inventory, the F&B Attendant plays a pivotal role in the hospitality operation.


Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide immediate attention upon their arrival.
  • Accurately take guest orders and relay them to the kitchen promptly.
  • Serve food and beverages quickly while ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas throughout shifts.
  • Assist in setting up dining areas, including arranging tables and decorations.
  • Manage guest complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other service team members.
  • Monitor and restock supplies and inventory as needed to ensure smooth service.
  • Inform guests about daily specials and menu changes in a knowledgeable manner.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Process guest payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions securely.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance service skills.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food and beverage service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for guest interaction.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and perform well under pressure in busy environments.
  • Familiarity with health, hygiene, and safety regulations in the food service industry.
  • Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling payments accurately.
